About Us

The PTA's goal is to enrich the environment for our children, families and community. It takes many volunteers to make that happen and parent volunteers are always necessary and welcome. Check with this website often to review the many volunteer opportunities.

Our annual fundraisers are a great way to contribute financially. We will have "Running with the Stars" in the fall and "Spring Fling" in the spring. The money from these two great fundraisers goes to provide services and programs that benefit the students and families of Shady Grove, in addition to enrichment supplies for the classrooms and purchases that benefit the school as a whole.

We love our volunteers, and we love to hear from them too!  If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for future programs and purchases please feel free to contact us at any time.

Every PTA member is welcome to join us at each of our upcoming General Body Meetings in the school cafeteria. You do not have to be a member of the board to attend. We would love to see you there!

We as a PTA are excited about this school year and the many fun activities and educational programs we will be bringing to the students and families of Shady Grove!
